Story Time is a library program of picture book sharing, nursery rhymes, songs, fingerplays, storytelling and/or other related activities such as puppetry and crafts.  While introducing children to quality literature and encouraging the development of life-long reading interests, these programs also help increase listening and group cooperation skills.  Story Time gives children a chance to learn new words, new ideas and the opportunity to make new friends. Because children of different ages are at different levels of development, there are several Story Time options.

Toddler Story Time (adult participation required)

·        Ages one through two on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

·        Ages two through three on Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m.

Preschool Story Time (parents must remain in the library)

·        Ages three through five on Friday mornings at 11:00 a.m.
