WELCOME! This is what we do

l     Monthly lectures by leading local bird and ecology experts

l     Birding trips by car, boat, and/or foot to educate, entertain, socialize.

l     On line bird sightings database using e-bird.org

l     Support Audubon Adventures in schools and Audubon scholarships for teachers.

l     Advocate environmentally friendly practices to protect our world for all living things.

We meet at 7:00 p.m. the first Thursday of each month October  through April at the Florida Hospital Flagler (just west of I95) on SR100 Palm Coast, We will be in meeting room A or B. All members (and visitors) of the community are welcome to attend meetings and participate in activities.

We are now well into our planning cycle for our next season. We anticipate that our programs, field trips and bird walks planning will be complete by mid August. Watch this space for details.

One item where we need your help is in support of the ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE LANDS ballot question in Flagler County. On August 26 you can vote to continue with the brilliant program that has already purchased and preserved such Jewels as Princess Place, Betty Steflik Park, Bing's Landing, Long's Creek etc. We strongly recommend that you vote YES for the funding!!

Next meeting – .

Next field trip - .

Next bird walk – .

Jewels of FlaglerDefining and protecting the most important and threatened environments in Flagler County (Jewels) is the centerpiece of Flagler Audubon's environmental intervention. Over the summer a team of FAS members  defined the key habitats where we will focus. They have documented these habitats in the form of a calendar to be sent to all members of local legislature.
